Hello,
My name is Rwema, and I am a climate science researcher at AIMS RIC. My work focuses on promoting the integration of climate data into agroecological research. As part of this effort, I am keen on leveraging Google Earth Engine (GEE) as a valuable platform for accessing a variety of climate datasets.
While working with Google Earth Engine, I have two specific questions for the community:
Dataset Update Frequency:
Could anyone clarify the update frequency for the following climate datasets available on GEE?
CHIRPS
NEX-GDDP-CMIP6
ERA (please specify ERA5, ERA-Interim, etc.)
AgERA5
AgERA5 v2 Dataset Concern:
I have noticed that the AgERA5 v2 dataset on Google Earth Engine seems to be using the outdated dataset version or option. Could someone confirm if this is the case, and if so, is there a plan to update it to the latest available data? Guidance on how to access the most recent version would be appreciated.
